Understanding the Divine Connection
The body is the temple of the Lord. It is the sacred home that houses our creative imagination, where the image of God is alive and ready to be activated, accepted, and embraced. This true house of God deserves a thorough investigation and a proper understanding. We must take the time to explore the laws of our being—the laws that dictate the very substance of our bodies.
Our bodies exist in nature, and by proxy, we must understand nature and its laws to comprehend our own bodies. Likewise, understanding our bodies helps us grasp the essence of nature. The soul is a powerful concept, defined as the non-physical part of our being, the seat of our emotions and character.
Nature encompasses all natural and spiritual phenomena. Everything is defined within nature, including God, the principles of God, the processes of creation, and the mysteries of life and death.
The Laws of Nature
Laws are sequences, patterns, and methods of nature. They can be summed up as thoughts from nature. For instance, consider a tree: it is something that the nature of life envisioned, and now it exists. All life is interconnected, and we are part of this vast web. Imagine nature as one mind, our individual minds, and the collective consciousness of humanity (the hive mind) all intertwined with the mind of nature. This connection is both abstract, like art, and objective, like math—a matter of fact. Art embodies beauty in proportion, while math represents objective sequences.
Psalm 1:1-2 beautifully illustrates this connection:
[1] Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
[2] but his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
This passage in Psalms is not merely a suggestion; it is a sequence and method about the law. The Law of the Lord equals the Nature of God, the Order of God, and the Motion of God. It reveals a divine pattern and the cause and effect of righteous action—both seen and unseen, physical and spiritual. A person who delights in these patterns, sequences, and methods will, by proxy, be blessed. Blessedness is a condition bestowed by nature in response to using the laws of God for creation and abundance.
The Nature of God and Nature
Many reject the construct of God due to the misuse of religion and community. However, the good news is that God is nature. Nature offers a fuller conception of all things and creation. This understanding does not require belief but rather knowledge and acceptance. It is crucial to distinguish this from a belief system; it is about principles and facts of natural law. You may carry your belief system with you, but it cannot be used as a form of misinformation.
The nature of light embodies the Lord (Law); the Lord is the law of nature. Light, as both waves and particles, serves as a simple way to understand the power of natural law—a spiritual, unseen, everlasting force that exists beyond humanity yet resides within us all. We are its beneficiaries, navigating the process of order. We did not create the natural laws of existence; we can only observe and experience them. Through observation, experimentation, comparison, and contrast, we can seek, knock, and ask further into all divine laws—both natural and spiritual, tangible and intangible.
The Distinction Between Nature and Superstition
Many aspects of religion can devolve into superstition, where principles of nature are misinterpreted as being about a deity or an external world rather than the inner world of our hearts and minds. The aspects of nature are spirituality—a crucial distinction that can mean the difference between finding meaning and merely existing. To purify religion and use it as a tool for communication, we must draw attention to which ideologies and frameworks are rooted in superstition. We must reframe these paradigms to align with nature, enabling humanity to stand tall in both the physical and spiritual realms.
Being made in the image of God is a direct allegory to being part of the creative imagination of nature. The creative imagination operates similarly; we must engage with the images and thoughts we conjure there. The imaging faculty of the brain is what we call the creative imagination.
“Every single one of us is a field that is both the observer, the observed, and the actor. This field does not exist in space and time; space and time exist within us.” - Federico Faggin
When children are raised with this human perspective, we will naturally cultivate heaven on earth and earth in heaven. The bliss of the spiritual world will manifest in real time. As in heaven, so shall it be on earth. We must #HealNowNotLater.
Embracing the Laws of Nature
Here are some laws to consider that will help you feel more at home with the idea of divine mind:
Divine Oneness: Everything is connected.
Vibration: Everything has a unique frequency.
Attraction: Like attracts like.
Correspondence: As above, so below; our inner world reflects our outer world.
Action: Manifestation requires action.
Cause and Effect: Every action has a consequence.
Compensation: Reward follows right action.
Perpetual Transmutation: Energy is always in motion.
Relativity: Everything is relative.
Polarity: There are two sides to everything.
Rhythm: Nothing is permanent.
Gender: Manifestation requires a balance of energies.
The laws of physics are statements of fact derived from observation, indicating that particular natural or scientific phenomena always occur under certain conditions. Principles are fundamental truths or propositions that serve as the foundation for systems of behavior or chains of reasoning.
Major religions often guide us closer to these discoveries, disciplines, and thoughts. However, the misuse of scripture and tradition can disrupt divine order and stifle creative genius.
The Call to Study and Understand
We must heed the call to study and show ourselves approved unto God—a workman needing not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). It is our responsibility to understand and be approved by natural and spiritual law. We must develop into workmen and women who stand unashamed because we have rightly divided the word of truth into creative genius. Creative power is the natural result of a proper understanding of God's law.
The Bible states that Jesus is the sum of the law and the prophets, which can also be interpreted as Jesus being the embodiment of the law within our bodies, the law in nature, and the spoken word of both nature and humanity. Humanity is spirit, traditionally understood as wind—he or she who breathes.
The master teacher was never attempting to convey an external message or code. Instead, it was always about inward divine mathematics.
“20 ¶ And when he was demanded of the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Jesus teaches the law of our being—the creative solution principles of the soul. He emphasizes the virtues of being over chaos, disorder, dysfunction, despair, disease, and every form of sickness and lack. This is the complete opposite of creativity, creative solutions, and the proper use of the creative imagination.
Laws of Our Being
To further explore the connection between spiritual laws and the laws of our being, consider the following:
Homeostasis: Our bodies strive for balance and equilibrium, maintaining a stable internal environment despite external changes.
Adaptation: Our bodies adapt to changing environments, stressors, and demands, allowing us to survive and thrive.
Self-Healing: Our bodies possess an inherent capacity for self-healing, repairing damaged tissues and restoring function.
Laws that Dictate the Substance of Our Bodies
Biological Laws: Our bodies are governed by biological laws, such as genetics, physiology, and biochemistry.
Physiological Laws: Our bodies operate according to physiological laws, including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and biomechanics.
Nutritional Laws: Our bodies require specific nutrients, vitamins, and minerals to function optimally, governed by laws of nutrition and metabolism.
Understanding Our Bodies
Anatomy and Physiology: Studying the structure and function of our bodies helps us understand how they work.
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology: Understanding the biochemical and molecular processes that govern our bodies provides insight into their function and dysfunction.
Lifestyle and Environmental Factors: Recognizing the impact of lifestyle and environmental factors on our bodies empowers us to make informed choices to promote health and well-being.
Implications for Personal Growth
Self-Care and Self-Responsibility: Understanding the laws of our being and the laws that dictate the substance of our bodies empowers us to care for ourselves and make informed decisions.
Prevention and Wellness: By understanding how our bodies work, we can take proactive steps to prevent disease and promote overall wellness.
Holistic Approach: Recognizing the interconnectedness of our bodies and minds encourages a holistic approach to health and well-being.
By exploring the laws of nature, our being, and the laws that dictate the substance of our bodies, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. This knowledge empowers us to make informed choices that promote health, wellness, creative genius, and self-awareness.
In this journey, let us remember that the body is indeed a temple, a sacred vessel through which we can connect with the divine, nature, and our true selves.
